Alina Culetu, PhD in Chemistry, is Scientific Researcher and Head of the Food Chemistry Laboratory at National R&D Institute for Food Bioresources – IBA Bucharest (Romania). Her research focuses on the formulation and development of new healthy cereal-based products (including gluten-free products), investigating rheological and nutritional properties, linking food science and technology with nutritional sciences. She has been involved in different national and international research projects with food quality, nutrition, food product development or food waste valorization. Chemistry, rheology, quality, nutritional properties and consumer preferences are the main area of research.
