Francisco Barro Losada


Francisco Barro Losada is Professor at the Department of Plant Breeding in the Institute for Sustainable Agriculture-Spanish National Research Council (IAS-CSIC). His main research topic is the development and characterization of gluten-free wheat varieties suitable for people suffering from gluten-related disorders. He has participated as Principal Investigator in research projects for the down-regulation of wheat gliadins and the identification of drought response genes.
