Rachelle Alhosry


Rachelle Alhosry started working as quality controller in Barista coffee and Castania nuts – Lebanese Roasting and Automatic Brewers Group from 2020 till 2022. In 2020, she was graduated as agricultural engineer in Food science and technologies from Lebanese university, faculty of agronomy and veterinary medicine in Beirut, Lebanon. Furthermore, she took her Lebanese baccalaureate in life sciences in 2015.

She is currently a PhD student in microbiology and biotechnology in a joint supervision PhD program between Lebanese University and University of Montpellier. She is working on her experiments in the laboratories of INRAe-UMR SPO-Montpellier and the faculty of agronomy in Lebanon under the supervision of Delphine Sicard (France); Marie-José Ayoub (Lebanon); Rosette Daoud (Lebanon) on her thesis subject: “Microbial diversity of indigenous Lebanese sourdoughs from legumes fermentation and valorization of their starters by the study of their technological and baking properties”.
