Elena Baldoni

Elena Baldoni is researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Biology and Biotechnology of the National Research Council (CNR) of Italy. Her research interests are focused on gene expression regulation mechanisms involved in plant-environment interactions, in particular abiotic stresses, and on the analysis of genetic traits related to seed nutritional quality in wheat. She has participated to national and international research projects and has published several peer-reviewed scientific articles on international scientific journals. She is an associate member of the Italian Society of Crop Genetics, and she has been recently nominated as Leader of the Working Group 2 “Agronomy and cereal breeding” in COST ACRYRED Action (CA21149).
