Fatma Boukid


Fatma Boukid is currently a senior project manager and food scientist at Clonbio engineering group Ltd. With a focus on cereal sciences and technologies, her research endeavors primarily revolve around leveraging proteins and fibers for the innovation of novel food products. This includes the development of items such as egg-free, plant-based, protein/fiber rich and fat/sugar-reduced options, all designed while considering their impact on human health. She has more than 80 publications among them 73 peer-reviewed papers in international journals, 5 book chapters, 3 books and has more than 10 communications in national and international congresses. In addition to her groundbreaking research, Fatma has been actively engaged with the Cereals & Grains Association since 2016. Over the years, she has assumed diverse roles within the association, starting as the student representative of Cereals & Europe and later progressing to the positions of Vice Chair and Communication Officer within the Pulses Division. Her commitment to advancing the field and her active involvement in professional associations underscore her dedication to the advancement of cereal sciences and food technology.
