Diane Zimmermann
Diane Zimmermann has been working for more than 15 years in R&D in the food industry providing expert advice and communicating on evidence-based science. She joined Cereal Partners Worldwide (CPW) in 2022, as part of the Nutrition, Regulatory & Scientific Affairs team. Her knowledge and expertise embrace several key dimensions of nutrition science with a strong focus on diets, foods, and food ingredients with documented benefits, especially on cardiometabolic health.
She has a high interest in better understanding the interactions between the food system, climate change, and the potential to deliver sustainable diets while safeguarding planetary boundaries.
She is part of several working groups of the Whole Grain Initiative, helping to promote whole grain as a key component of healthy and sustainable diets.
She holds a Ph.D. and a postgraduate diploma in Human Nutrition and is part of the Editorial Board of Frontiers (Nutrition & Sustainable Diets), the 3rd most-cited research publisher.
