Dhan Bhandari


Dhan Bhandari is a Senior Cereal Product Quality Scientist in the Crop Health & IPM Department of Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board, UK. He has a background in cereal research, with a focus on proteins, enzymes and starch characteristics that determine the quality of the wheat, barley and oats. He leads a major programme monitoring contaminants, including mycotoxins and pesticides, in these cereals. He has managed projects concerned with: cereal end-use quality attributes relevant to milling, malting/brewing/distilling and feed grains and oilseeds; cereal genetics relevant to milling, malting and feed quality.
