Wendy Sztupecki


Wendy Sztupecki is a final year PhD candidate at Université Picardie Jules Verne (EDSTS 585, Amiens, France) and member of the Transformations & Agroressources research unit of Institut Polytechnique UniLaSalle (ULR7519, Beauvais, France). While her research interests include plant compounds and valorization of their metabolites in food, her PhD subject specifically aims to understand the effect of ozone treatment on wheat non-starch polysaccharides for the optimization of their functional and nutritional characteristics. Through this project, she gained expertise in different fields such as ozone process, physico-chemical and rheological characterization, molecular biology, cell culture models and clinical studies. She had the opportunity to present some of her findings in scientific meetings and published two review papers. Research papers are in progress.
