Geertrui Bosmans


Geertrui Bosmans works since 2018 as research manager in the GRS (Group Research and Services) department at Puratos, an international group based in Belgium offering a full range of innovative products, raw materials and application expertise to the bakery, patisserie and chocolate sectors. She has an expertise in cereal derivatives and their functionalities in bakery and patisserie applications, and uses this expertise to develop the future innovations in the bakery and patisserie area at Puratos. Before joining the company, she worked as a doctoral and post-doctoral researcher at the laboratory of food chemistry and biochemistry at KU Leuven (Belgium) on functionality of raw materials in bread and cake applications.
